The lights flicked on.

" Good morning, Lyeha!"

She shot up in her bed, momentarily on alert, and relaxed when she saw that it was just the girl that the Commodore General had appointed as her guide to the ship, Neda.

It still felt very early; she wasn't quite used to DASS time yet.

" M-morning, Neda," she replied, tired and frazzled all at once.

" I know it's a bit early, but I was thinking that you could accompany me through my normal schedule today, maybe? To see what it's like," she offered. " I know yesterday you were all cooped up in here until noon..."

" Yes. Right. That's fine," Lesa answered, getting out of bed. " I'll be out in a moment. Let me get dressed."

" Of course."
